We recently discovered the good folks at iplayerHD.com. They offer high quality video server hosting at a very affordable rate. We are in the process of moving all our online video clips from a previous CDN server solution to iplayerHD.com. For $30/month or $300/year you can upload as many video clips as you like, with a storage space of 50GB and a monthly bandwidth of 100GB! And the quality is excellent. Using their compression service you can upload a 1280x720HD video and they will create several different files so that your viewers browser will use the movie best suited for the browser and the viewers internet access speed. It even includes a mobile device optimized compressed movie. Your account includes backend access to name your movies, choose thumbnail pictures, add search engine tag info, embed codes for adding movies to your website, video playlists, etc.
We are very excited about working with Wes and the other folks at iplayerHD.com and hope that you’ll check them out today. They offer a 30-day free trial and you don’t need a credit card for that period. Check them out and use this link so they’ll know we sent you. http://www.iplayerhd.com/go/durham
This week we finished post production on a new promotional video for the North Carolina Baptist Aging Ministry, a division of the Baptist Children’s Homes of NC. The project was shot on the Canon 5D Mark II and a SONY XDCAM EX3. I’ll be posting a sample movie here soon but you can see it now in our Creations gallery. The video will be shown at the Annual Session of the Baptist State Convention of NC next week and distributed in the Exhibit Hall to churches that wish to receive a copy. A later distribution to the 4,000 Southern Baptist churches in NC may also take place.
We recently returned from a 23-day production trip to Ghana, Ethiopia, Sudan, Kenya and Zimbabwe. I’ll be posting some photos and video clips in the coming weeks. This was our first time using our new Canon 5D Mark II camera for both digital stills and video clips. The quality was very impressive. Here is one photo I won’t soon forget!
I had the privilege of traveling with my good friend and spiritual mentor, Dr. J. L. Williams this weekend to Port-au-Prince, Haiti to shoot some video footage at the Double Harvest farm. Dr. Williams also spoke at a national conference for recipients of 100,000 Bibles that were distributed to government officials and workers from the President, to police officers, mayors, government clerics, etc. It has been an exciting weekend and I’ll be posting some photos and video clips when I return today.
Here is a short video welcome from Dr. Williams from Haiti. This was shot on our brand new Canon 5D Mark II camera. Incredible technology!
